Under There Too

Wear with...

Low Back Dress in Black

Since summer is well on its way, I thought it time for a followup to the "Under There" post. Loup is perfect for traveling and especially throwing over a swimsuit. These Laura Urbinati swim suits are retro without being over the top and are the perfect compliment to a summer Loup ensemble.

Philip Johnson's Glass house is insanely inspiring. Set on 47 acres of land in New Canaan Connecticut, the property has 6 separate main structures and endless amount of beauty. Johnson built the Glass House for himself, and added elements like 2 galleries and a library to create a more entertaining, functional environment and a great place to gather his friends like Andy Warhol. My friends Maggie and Shana and I visited the grounds for an architecture tour and needless to say, we were very impressed.

Helium Eternal

I designed the Helium Eternal concept in a reminiscence of the tender age: the childhood memory of this magnificent, brightly shining balloon you proudly bring back from the park, but which will alas tragically deflate within few days…

This early disappointment has influenced me to create a new interpretation of the children balloon: an ETERNAL one, which would fly forever and never go down again.

These Japanese posters from some of my favorite movies bring a whole new life into the classics. My friend Aaron brought the Annie Hall poster to my attention after seeing my love for this Muppet Press Annie Hall reference.

"Why have we made a folk hero of a man who is the antithesis of all our official heroes, a haunted millionaire of the West, trailing a legend of desperation and power and white sneakers?"

Jeu de Paume

via Smithsonian and jgfox

A small but dedicated group keeps "Court Tennis" alive in Paris at the Fontainebleau jeu de paume courts. The game is similar to tennis but described as a "quirky game of finesse and speed" that uses these amazing long indoor courts. Check out those handmade balls and antique guest book!
